"Saguaro Lake Ranch’s tubing experience on the Lower Salt River provides a fun, refreshing, and scenic float that families and outdoor lovers can enjoy; it is the perfect vantage point to take in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. We will have the opportunity to float on the pristine first mile of the Lower Salt River before reaching the public launch area."
"The trip starts at the top of the river at the Ranch's beautiful Salt River tubing launch site. This is where the water is released from Stewart Mountain Dam’s turbine, where it is cool and clean; it’s the most serene and unspoiled part of the Lower Salt River. We will park and check in at the Ranch office and enter the water from there. After a 2.5 or 3-hour trip down the river, we will be picked up by air-conditioned vans that will take us back to the Ranch."
After we are finished rafting, we will stop on the way back to the church and get lunch, (lunch is not included in the $20).
Needs: Swimsuit, lots of water and sunscreen, snacks, swim shoes, hat
(optional) sunglasses, goggles, swim shirt
We are looking for 4-5 adults to join us for this fun day on the river. If you would like to join us, but you have a younger child who is at least 9 and 4ft tall, you are more than welcome to bring them to enjoy the fun.
